Scope of Work
Replacement of an existing 170-ton chiller with a new 160-ton Trane Ascend Air-Cooled Multi-Stage Chiller, new pump, motor, and Variable Frequency Drive, new chillwater piping, and reconnection to the existing BMS system.
Project Highlights and Results
Cape Coral's City Hall houses the city's entire governmental services and departments. A 170-ton chiller had reached end of life and needed to be replaced without taking the building offline. The facility was fully operational throughout the entire project, with no scheduled downtime window. Every move had to be planned around active city operations. We replaced the existing chiller with a new 160-ton Trane Ascend Air-Cooled Multi-Stage Chiller, installed a new pump, motor, and VFD, replaced the connected chillwater piping, and reconnected the unit to the existing BMS. The project was completed ahead of schedule with zero impact to the building's tenants or daily operations.
