Project Highlights and Results

The Broward County Main Library is home to the county's library administrative offices and its rare books collection. Nine air handling units needed to be replaced along with associated piping, ductwork, fire alarm components, and BMS controls, all while the library remained fully open to the public. All work has been performed during normal business hours, with safety measures and clean work protocols on every shift to protect the public and the rare books collection. We are replacing nine Daikin AHUs with Q-pac fan array and accompanying Plasma Air Ion Generators, installing new chillwater piping, shut-off valves, ductwork, fire alarm sprinkler piping, fire alarm duct detectors, and new BMS controls. The project also includes a small bathroom renovation. Completion is scheduled for August 2026.
