Scope of Work
Replacement of an existing 200-ton chiller with a new 195-ton Daikin Air-Cooled Multi-Stage Chiller, new pump, motor, and Variable Frequency Drive, new chillwater piping, and reconnection to the existing BMS system.
Project Highlights and Results
The Cape Coral Police Department building was running on a 200-ton chiller that needed replacement. Emergency services run out of this facility, so the work had to be invisible to operations and large-scale equipment delivery had to be coordinated to avoid interfering with patrols, dispatch, or response activity. We coordinated delivery of the equipment during early morning hours and completed the installation within one week of demolition. We replaced the chiller with a new 195-ton Daikin Air-Cooled Multi-Stage Chiller, installed a new pump, motor, and VFD, replaced connected chillwater piping, and reconnected the BMS. The project was completed ahead of schedule with zero impact to emergency operations.
