Palm Beach County Canyon District Park Renovations

HMAC Project

Client: Palm Beach County (GC: Kaufman-Lynn Construction)

Type of Building: Public Park & Facilities

Location: 10575 Ben Ferencz Way, Boynton Beach, FL 33473

Scope of Work

Concession building HVAC, new grills and louvers throughout the complex, and exhaust fans for all public restroom facilities across both phases of the park renovation.

Project Highlights and Results

Phase I and Phase II of the Canyon District Park project in West Boynton Beach is a $29 million, 52-acre public park expansion that began in late 2024. Managed by Kaufman-Lynn Construction, the project added four lighted baseball/softball fields, a playground, sand volleyball, picnic areas, and new restroom and concession buildings. Public-park projects involve coordinating with multiple trades on an aggressive construction schedule, and HVAC work had to integrate cleanly with the broader build. We worked on both phases of the renovation, providing and installing all new HVAC equipment for the new concession building, new grills and louvers throughout, and exhaust fans for every public restroom facility on site. Both phases were delivered on-time and within budget.
