Project Highlights and Results

The Vital Statistics building at the Broward County Health Department Administrative Center is undergoing a large-scale HVAC renovation. The plan-and-spec project replaces all AC equipment in the building, and HMAC was engaged as a design consultant in addition to executing the work. A renovation of this scale touches every part of the building's mechanical systems. Coordinating three custom RTUs, fifty-seven VAVs, a brand-new Siemens BMS, and the conversion of two split systems into a single outdoor packaged unit required careful sequencing alongside the building's continued operations. Completion is scheduled for December 2026.
